Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce the placement of Ajay Malik as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Engineering & Quality Assurance at Meru Networks. The search was led by Mark Lonergan.
Ajay joins Meru Networks with over 20 years of engineering leadership and entrepreneurial experience in developing award-winning products in the software, mobile/wireless, and networking industries. Prior to joining Meru, Ajay held leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard Company, where he was vice president of engineering, mobility solutions, HP Networking Group, and at Cisco’s Wireless Networking Group, where he was responsible for controller, management, and services functions across the wireless product portfolio. Prior to that, he was head of engineering and advanced development in the Wireless LAN Division of Symbol Technologies/Motorola and championed Motorola’s foray into real-time Wi-Fi location.
Ajay has a BE in computer science from IIT Roorkee, India, and over 70 patents issued/pending in Wi-Fi, location, and management.
